The House
Unfortunately there is no access to the first floor except via the stairs.
The Gardens
The Terraces, Walled Garden and part of the Woodland Walk are accessible to wheel chairs, although the gravel paths can make pushing hard work.

The Tearoom is accessible down a short ramp through a side door.
Toilet
There is a disabled toilet within the toilet block.
Bringing History to Life
Please feel free to contact us to custom build a school visit. We are happy to work with you to provide a visit that fits into your project work or curriculum themes.
We can offer tours of the House, with particular reference to the Victorian period and different architectural styles, sketching in the Walled Garden or a Woodland Walk with a photographic trail.

Hutton is easy to find. We are 6 miles NW of Penrith and two and a half miles north west of M6 Junction 41 on the B5305 towards Wigton.
